AgriNB Launches New Brunswick’s New Agricultural Job Bank

Fredericton, NB – AgriNB is excited to announce the launch of its new agricultural job bank, a
comprehensive resource for connecting agricultural employers with job seekers in the New Brunswick
region. This platform offers the added convenience of allowing employers to advertise job openings at
no cost, thus promoting employment opportunities within the agriculture industry and working towards
bridging the labour shortage gap.

The “AgriNB Job Bank” is being integrated within the AgriNB.ca website, which has been increasingly
recognized as the premier destination for information and resources within the agricultural industry,
catering to the needs of both employers and employees, as well as individuals with interest in the
sector.

The AgriNB Job Bank is designed to be user-friendly, for employers who can create an account and post
job listings, and for applicants who can apply for the jobs using the method outlined by the employer. It
presents mutually beneficial opportunities for agricultural employers looking to fill labour gaps and job
seekers interested in growing their careers in agriculture.

“It is essential that producers have access to a reliable workforce so they can successfully run their
businesses. Resources like the AgriNB agricultural job bank make it easier to match employers with
people looking for work, which will help grow the sector.”
The Honourable Marie-Claude Bibeau, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food

“The agriculture sector is an important part of New Brunswick’s economy. This new agricultural job bank
is yet another tool the industry can access to help employers and job seekers find each other. We rely
on our farmers to help put good quality, local food on our tables, and this valuable resource will help
maintain and grow the agriculture sector.”
The Honourable Margaret Johnson, Minister of Agriculture, Aquaculture, and Fisheries

“The new agricultural job bank is essential if we want agriculture to flourish in this province. This free
service is easy to use for both employers and employees and provides up-to-date job opportunities in all
agricultural fields. We are very happy to have this service up and running, as not only will producers be
able to post jobs, but all agricultural job opportunities in NB will be on the site, being funneled from
other resources.”
Joel Lamarche, President of the Agricultural Alliance of New Brunswick
