Quotes
“If you’re never visited a farm or if you have questions about the agricultural industry, Open Farm Day is the best time to get to know the farmers who feed our communities. You will get the chance to meet producers, see animals and learn about the quality products New Brunswick has to offer. It’s good, family fun and very educational for people of all ages. Put on your rubber boots and get to know your farmers!” – Christian Michaud, Agricultural Alliance of NB President

“Open Farm Day is a great opportunity for the public to interact with NB farmers and learn more about where our food comes from. Farmers feed our communities and strengthen our rural communities throughout the province. As Minister of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries, I invite you to make the effort to visit at least one of the farms who have opened their doors and witness the importance of agriculture and aquaculture to our province. I would like to commend the Agricultural Alliance of NB for continuing this tradition for the 19th year and to the farmers who are participating in Open Farm Day.” – Hon. Ross Wetmore, Minister of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries
