La Fleur du Pommier is an apple orchard located in Cocagne, NB. It was founded in 1978 and is currently owned by three local families. For decades we’ve been a popular spot for families to come pick apples in the fall and we take pride in our ability to provide fresh products for the community. We have over 30 varieties of apples which we keep fresh all year round with controlled atmosphere rooms.

Other than apples, we produce pears, peaches, cherries, plums, raspberries (U-Pick), squash, and pumpkins.

Two of the current owners grew up on farms. One grew up on the orchard and the other on a vegetable farm. They both explored other career paths and found their way back to farming.

For us, the most satisfying part of farming is being able to earn a living off products of the earth, provide employment opportunities and offer quality produce to our community.

Our advice to anyone who wants to start farming is to start slowly and do your research. If you have partners, choose people who have different skill sets that compliment one another.  Know that it’s very hard work but also very rewarding.

We have a store in our warehouse open year-round where you can find our produce and other products. We sell our apples (September-the following spring), other fruits and veggies (local when in season), freshly pressed apple cider, crabapple jelly, strawberry jam, raspberry jam, apple and crabapple cider vinegar, as well as homemade fruit rolls.
