Experience the Heart of Agriculture during New Brunswick’s 25th Open Farm Day on September 21, 2025!
New Brunswick – Participating farmers across New Brunswick will open their farm gates to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Atlantic Open Farm Day. This year, the event takes place in-person and online on Sunday, September 21, 2025.
Each participating farm will offer its own unique experience. Visitors will experience first-hand how farms operate, meet the farmers who grow and produce our delicious and quality food, and participate in educational activities and family fun! To officially launch this milestone event, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at Laughing Apple Farm (311 Rte. 615, Scotch Settlement) at 9:00 a.m. on September 21. The Honourable Pat Finnigan, Minister of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries, along with other government dignitaries and officials, will be in attendance to help mark the occasion.

Open Farm Day in New Brunswick is delivered by the Agricultural Alliance of New Brunswick, and supported by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and the Department of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries, through the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (Sustainable CAP).
The Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership is a 5-year, $3.5-billion investment by federal, provincial and territorial governments to strengthen competitiveness, innovation, and resiliency of Canada’s agriculture, agri‐food, and agri‐based products sector. This includes $1 billion in federal programs and activities and a $2.5-billion commitment that is cost-shared 60% federally and 40% provincially/territorially for programs that are designed and delivered by provinces and territories.
