Agricultural Alliance of New Brunswick Appoints New KTT Coordinator for the Living Lab NB
FREDERICTON, NB: The Agricultural Alliance of New Brunswick (AANB) is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Shabda Verma as the new Knowledge Translation and Transfer (KTT) Coordinator for the Living Lab New Brunswick, effective April 21, 2025.
“We are happy to have Shabda join the NB Living Lab team here at the AANB. Her agricultural background and communication skills will certainly be an asset to the project.” says Anna Belliveau, CEO of the Agricultural Alliance of New Brunswick.

With a strong background in agricultural science, project management, and international collaboration—including projects with Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology—Shabda brings both technical expertise and a passion for inclusive knowledge sharing.
“I’m really excited about this opportunity because it brings together everything I care about—agriculture, communication, and community,” says Shabda. “For me, it’s all about helping good ideas reach the right people and making sure farmers have a voice in shaping the future of agriculture.”
In her new role, Shabda will lead the implementation of the Living Lab New Brunswick’s Knowledge Translation and Transfer strategy. Her responsibilities include managing digital platforms (including the website, social media, and a learning management system), engaging with producers, coordinating learning events, and supporting data tracking to measure project impact and foster continuous improvement.
